About

Our Vision

Every patient with a musculoskeletal condition receives care from a competent and confident practitioner, optimizing healing and functional outcomes.

Our Mission

Enrich and strengthen healthcare professionals

MTN’s primary aim is to enrich and strengthen general healthcare professionals with specialized musculoskeletal knowledge, experience, and expertise through precise, state-of-the-art education and hands-on training. Our goal is to innovate and advance the industry for musculoskeletal education available to non-orthopedic surgery clinicians and facilities that care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

Our Why

Roughly 1 in 6 visits to a family medicine clinic, urgent care or emergency room is for a musculoskeletal complaint.

Emergency physicians and Family Medicine doctors typically receive about one month of education dedicated to musculoskeletal care in their entire residency training. Many other allied health professionals are also on the frontlines of musculoskeletal care but receive far fewer hours of education specific to musculoskeletal care. Specialized orthopedic consultation and assistance is not always immediately available to those serving in healthcare settings. Only about 1% of all physicians in the United States are orthopedic surgeons.

Most musculoskeletal conditions will be cared for by generalist healthcare professionals.

Through excellent continuing education and practical training, we aim to empower you and your team with the knowledge and tools for confident clinical assessment, diagnosis and implementation of an orthopedic care plan independently or when directed by an orthopedic specialist. The knowledge and technical excellence gained from our educational programs will inspire confidence and promote competent, efficient and effective care and outcomes for pre-surgical, post-surgical, and non-operative management. Education can be customized to needs of the organization and audience.
